In February 1966 the construction was finished and the glass furnace of direct heating was put into operation on the manufacturing area at the address 158, Frunze street, Poltava. From this moment the factory began to make the products from its own glass Brand ÀÁ-1. It was developed the manufacture of the paired ampoules, different medical wares and laboratory instruments.

In August 1968 the second glass furnace of direct heating was built and put into operation. The tube assortment was more than 160 denominations from the glass Brands ÀÁ-1 and ÍÑ-1. The yearly output reached 5 000 tons.

On March 28, 1977 by order of ministry of medical industry Poltava Glass Factory was renamed in Poltava Medical Glass Factory.

In 1978 the construction of the ampoule shop was finished and put into operation the new administrative building. The ampoule shop was equipped by 77 semiautomatic machines ÈÎ-7 and ÈÎ-8 types. The production capacity of the ampoule shop was increased till 215 millions ampoules per year.

In 1980 three oxygen plants K-0,15with power 150 m3/ h each were installed.

During 1980-1990 the enterprise worked stable, successfully achieved the main technical and economic showing. All increase of the commercial output was got consequently of the working efficiency rise. The technical re-equipment of the glass-worked and ampoule production was carried out. The first three staking machine for tube production («Olivotto», Italy), ampoule equipment: 84 semiautomatic devices ÈÎ-18 (Hungary) and 15 lines «Compact-5000» (Italy) were bought. The production volume of the coupled ampoules achieved 1 billion 10 million per year.

In 2006 the glass mass granulator was put into operation that made possible to get the fine grain of the glass manufacturing waste for the purpose of sale to the manufacturers of the building materials, enamel and ceramic tableware etc.

In 2008 the oxygen compressor station was overhauled to provide the stable showing of the oxygen quality used in the engineering procedure. This allowed to get the oxygen of the guaranteed quality according to State Standard 6331-78 «Liquid oxygen: technical and medical» and State Standard 5583-78 «Oxygen gas: technical and medical».

The productivity of the reconstructed oxygen compressor station i³ increased twice. This gave the possibility to provide the needs of our production and realize the remains to the regional customers.
